What to Expect
Health and Wellness - First and foremost, health and wellness of all patients is very important, so if you have any cold or flu like symptoms, such as runny nose, fever, cough, headache, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, please refrain from booking an appointment until you are fully recovered. If you have cold or flu symptoms on the day of your appointment, please text me as soon as possible to cancel and reschedule your appointment.
The Clinic - By appointment only.
Move Massage and Bodywork is a one person in, one person out clinic, which means there is no waiting room, so please arrive as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible. If you are visiting me for the first time I recommend arriving 5 minutes early to complete a Client Information Form.
Booking an Appointment - Book online, text or phone me for availability. After booking an appointment, you will receive a reminder text 24 hours prior to your session time. Please note, you will not receive a confirmation text or email of your booking. Once you have successfully booked your appointment this is your confirmation.
Face Masks - Are optional, please feel free to wear a facemask if you are more comfortable doing so.
Consultation - All visits include a quick consultation, during this process your session plan will be tailored specifically for you and your goals. Clinical testing may be carried out to assess muscle strength, tissue restriction or areas of tension and discomfort. Retesting may be carried out during or after your session to assess for change in functionality, pain reduction or mobility. All session plans will be discussed with you to ensure you are happy with the process and that you are comfortable to proceed with massage.
General Information - Within the clinic space, there is a plastic reusable clothes bin for you to store your clothes and belongings in, please use this facility. Hand sanitiser is available throughout the clinic space.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle.
Payment - to be made on the day by cash, eftpos or credit card.
Cancellations & Fees - if you need to cancel an appointment, please let me know as soon as possible. To cancel your appointment, please ensure you text me on 021-2511-685, please do not cancel by replying to your booking reminder text. Less than 24 hours notice will incur a $20.00 cancellation fee, no shows (you don't show up to your appointment) will incur a fee of $50.00. Fee's incurred will be invoiced to you.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT, HOW WE COLLECT IT & WHAT WE DO WITH IT?
Your privacy is important to Move Massage & Bodywork. When we received personal and private information from you through the booking system or via email, this information will be used by us for the sole purpose of supplying a service to you.
You have the right at anytime to view, amend or delete any personal information held by us. Staff of Move Massage & Bodywork will be able to access your personal data and will be able to amend your information accordingly if required by you. Any changes to your personal information will require proof of your identity before amendments or discloser of information is made.
Your personal and private information held by Move Massage & Bodywork will not be published, sold or given to third parties unless the law requires us to do so.
